Platinum Games executives spoke with website Famitsu about a lot of things in a recent interview, among them Project GG.
Perhaps more interesting though, is the multiple unannounced projects the studio is working on, including working on its own new IP.
According to the interview, the studio is currently working on multiple unannounced projects of various sizes, some larger than others, and are for other publishers. Each of these projects are also at different stages of development.
Platinum Games is also working on a new in-house IP, and it’s not Project GG. The studio is even planning to expand further, having one of its most recent hires, Takao Yamane, head up its own publishing division.
Currently the studio is aiming to get up to more than 1000 employees, and it will also look to publish games in both digital and physical forms across the globe.
Though Platinum does still stipulate that Project GG is a self-published title.

All things considered, it seems like Platinum is gearing up for the future, and that we’ll be seeing a lot more from the studio whether it’s a Platinum developed, or published game.
