Sony has sold through over 30.2 million PlayStation 4 consoles worldwide as of November 22, 2015 and is demonstrating the “fastest and strongest growth in PlayStation hardware history.”
During the past few months, the PS4 received a price drop in North America, Europe, and Japan, thus matching the price of the Xbox One in many countries.
The PS4 Uncharted 4 bundle will be getting a temporary $50 price reduction, dropping to $299.99, over the Thanksgiving weekend, the kick-off to the holiday shopping season in the United States.
PS4 continues to be the best-selling game console worldwide this generation, with Xbox boss Phil Spencer admitting that Sony console has a huge lead that the Xbox One will likely not catch up to.
