Sony Interactive Entertainment has reflected on PlayStation London Studio today as the developer officially closes its doors after more than 20 years.
For over twenty years London Studio has been home to some exceptionally talented and wonderful people in the games industry. As we close the doors, and all go forward to new adventures, we wanted to say a heartfelt thank you, to all our past and present, players and colleagues who have supported us over the years. We’ve had one wild and wonderful journey!

London Studio formed back in 2002 and is best known for its extensive work on the SingStar series, although it also released a number of titles for the likes of PSVR and EyeToy. It also worked on The Getaway: Black Monday and the brilliant Blood & Truth, and ended up making over 60 titles in its 22-year history spanning PS2, PSP, PS3, PS4, and PSVR.
Prior to its closure, SIE London Studio was working on PS5 game set in fantasy London and included co-op, with job descriptions suggesting the project would ship simultaneously on PC and PS5. A previous job listing indicated the mystery PS5 game would include procedural worlds and content.
Thanks for the memories, London Studio!
