PlayStation Now is entering its open beta in the U.K. from today, Sony has announced.
The cloud-based streaming service, which has been in closed beta since spring of this year, allows gamers to stream PlayStation 3 titles to their PS4. Initially gamers will only be offered rentals, although a subscription service is planned for later in the year.
Depending on the game you can expect to pay £3-£8 for rentals, with an option of keeping them for 48 hours or 30 days. Titles on offer include Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, The Last of Us, Dead Space 3, BioShock Infinite and Mirror’s Edge.
PS Now access requires a PlayStation Network account, DualShock 3/4 controller, broadband Internet and a PS4 or compatible Sony device.
The U.S. edition of PS Now recently received a makeover for PS4, with six new games being added to the service for July.
