PlayStation Plus August 2016 error means you all get another free game

Due to an error made in the original line-up of PlayStation Plus August 2016 games for subscribers, Sony is now offering Tom Clancy’s End War for PS3 free from immediate effect in Europe.

In an updated post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony said:

"We would like to apologise for an error that lead to Retro/Grade being offered as one of this month’s free to download games on PS Plus."

Other games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers this month, include:

Tricky Towers, PS4
Rebel Galaxy, PS4
Yakuza 5, PS3
Patapon 3, PS Vita
Ultratron, PS Vita, PS3, PS4

Fans have been busy speculating about the PlayStation Plus September free games. With the release of Watch Dogs 2 in November, there’s some suggestions that the original game could make the cut.

We’ll have to wait and find out! Sony usually announces the line-up of free games right at the end of each month.
