Speaking on the latest Giant Bomb podcast, Jeff Grubb has reiterated that Sony will host a new PlayStation Showcase (or it may end up being State of Play; nothing is confirmed yet) this month, but just isn’t sure exactly when the event will be broadcast in terms of a date.
The PlayStation Showcase is happening this month still apparently. But whether it’s next week or the week after I honestly don’t know. Could be the end of the month, but I won’t be surprised this does actually happen next week, it could happen at any moment.

Grubb had previously claimed that a PS Showcase/State of Play would be happening this month, during which Silent Hill 2 Remake will likely be featured. There’s a lot of pressure on Sony right now to deliver some much-needed updates on its first-party plans for the next 6 months and beyond, as we don’t really have much of an idea of what’s in the pipeline.
