The PlayStation App has been datatmined and revealed evidence that Sony has an invite-only Diamond Tier for its PlayStation Stars initiative.
In addition to text, there’s also images that point to a Diamond tier and its various rewards, which are hosted on Sony’s official PlayStation website. There’s also a description that reads as follows:
“In an endless sea of stars, it seems like there’s nowhere to hide. But you wouldn’t be here if you let challenges like that stop you. Welcome to Level 5.”
Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Stars is coming to the US and UK later this month, and will launch with four tiers. Players start out at Level 1 and can work their way up the tiers by purchasing games and earning Trophies.
Last week, users in Japan expressed frustration that Tier 4 gives its members priority for better customer service.
