Sony’s PlayStation VR headset has received a price drop of sorts on select retailers including Amazon, with those of you looking to invest in the virtual reality peripheral but don’t own a PlayStation Camera able to pick up the device for a bargain price.
Specifically, you can grab PSVR with the PS Camera on Amazon and GameStop for $399.99, saving you $59.99 in the process. GameStop notes that the deal is for online customers only, so you won’t be able to rock up to the store and come out with a shiny new PSVR courtesy of this deal. It’s worth noting that Amazon bundles a demo disc into the mix too, although GameStop makes no mention of one.
PSVR was released in October 2016 alongside a number of exclusive software, including Batman Arkham VR and DriveClub VR, and is compatible with a number of major game releases such as Resident Evil 7: biohazard, Final Fantasy 15, and upcoming offerings including Gran Turismo Sport, Tekken 7, and Farpoint.
Sony has not explicitly stated how many units PSVR has sold to date, although has said that the device is performing very well.
