Activision has had pretty successful launch with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, however, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the social networking application designed to connect CoD players around the world – Call of Duty Elite.
The subscription-based service is off to a little bit of a rocky start, with users reporting error messages and inability to sign in due to a rather large influx of new subscribers.
Activision has since launched a current server status webpage, much like EA did with Battlefield 3, allowing gamers to check how Elite is currently doing. As a bonus, Activision is also adding one free month to current premium Elite subscribers to quell complaints over the last few days’ server hijinks.
