Speaking during its latest earnings call, Ubisoft confirmed that the long-delayed Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will launch by April 2026.
The game was mentioned alongside Anno 117: Pax Romana, Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence as part of its outlook for 2025 — 2026 financial year, which runs April 1, 2025 — March 31, 2025. Previously, it was only confirmed that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake would launch in 2026, so this narrows things down a lot better.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is a collaborative effort between numerous Ubisoft studios, including its Mumbai, Pune and Toronto studios. Back in July last year, Ubisoft Toronto announced that it had suffered a number of layoffs, having only just joined the project the previous month.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was originally released in November 2023 for PS2, GameCube, Xbox, and PC, and functions as a reboot of the series.
