The PlayStation Plus Collection has been rolled out by Sony following the PS5 release yesterday in the US, giving you a selection of top-tier PS4 games on the new system. However, you can still play them on the current-generation system, but only if you redeem them on PS5.

However, while it is possible to play these games on the PS4, you have to redeem them on the PS5 first. In other words, if you don’t have a PS5, it’s not possible to play them on Sony’s last-generation console. Once you’ve redeemed them on PS5, they will show up on the PS4 games library.
Sony rolled out the PS5 in the US and Japan yesterday, and is gearing up for the UK and European release on November 19. For our full hardware review of the system, see here.
