In the week that the PlayStation Plus March 2017 line-up of games was revealed and Sony’s epic Horizon Zero Dawn launched, we also enjoyed plenty of news from the world of PlayStation.
The following free games were confirmed for PS Plus March 2017:
- Tearaway Unfolded
- Disc Jam
- Lumo
- Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late
- Earth Defense Force 2025
- Severed
Meanwhile, Bungie provided an exciting update on the Destiny sequel and final live content, while Ubisoft revealed the Ghost Recon Wildlands Season Pass and PvP update, as well as a brand new game based on the Avatar movie. Ubisoft also revealed details of some For Honor freebies as an apology for the frequent server down time.
Questions were raised about Sony’s PlayStation Now service as Microsoft launched the Xbox Game Pass, and Sony sent out emails to PlayStation Network users across the United States about the PSN sales tax that comes into force in some regions in April 2017.
Gravel was announced for PS4 as well as Middle-Earth Shadow of War, and we got a sneak peak at the upcoming Borderlands 3 and Assassin’s Creed Empire, confirming an Egyptian setting.
PlayStation VR finally for a proper headset, and there were rumors that Sony hasn’t abandoned ideas of a successor to the PS Vita.
