PlayStation Vita’s battery life will last for a maximum of nine hours, though that number will dwindle significantly while playing a game, Sony has revealed.
The platform holder confirmed today that the handheld’s battery will last for an average of 3-5 hours while gaming or watching a flick. While in standby mode or listening to music however, it’ll last nine hours.
Vita will take approximately two hours and 40 minutes to charge the battery fully when it has completely run out of juice.
Sony’s new portable gaming console will launch in Japan on December 17, with a western launch scheduled for early next year.
