Sony this evening officially pushed another update for its frontrunner portable PlayStation Vita.
Labeled as firmware 2.60, the update includes four logged changes:
-You can now easily upload and download your saved data using online storage. Select the PlayStation Plus icon on the LiveArea screen for each application.
-Some items have been added to the menu that appears when you press and hold the PS button.
-[Devices] has been newly added under [Settings], and [Bluetooth Settings] has been moved under [Devices]
-In addition, the usability of many features has been improved.
Finally, PS Vita owners can upload and download their save files to the PS Plus cloud like they can with their PS3 game files. Coming from a person who frequents his PS Vita often, having the ability to backup game saves and remove games for a while makes life that much easier, considering that game saves are normally bound to the game install on the LiveArea screen.
