PlayStation Vita will initially boast 20MB limit when downloading files via the 3G version of Sony’s handheld, a representative for Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has allegedly confirmed.
That’s according to a report on ASCII, which says the rep also noted that the download limit may be changed at some point down the line.
Furthermore, Sony also said it is providing support to developers in regards to online technical limitations, and reiterated that the Wi-Fi and 3G versions of its new handheld will both be able to purchase items from the PlayStation Store.
PlayStation Vita is due out in Japan on December 17, with a western launch scheduled for early 2012.
