The recent PlayStation Blog post by Guerilla Cambridge hints at a US release date period for PlayStation Vita TV.
Shortly after announcing the next major updates for Killzone: Mercenary, Mark Green of Guerilla Cambridge finalized his post by saying that the team will be implementing Vita TV support for Killzone: Mercenary: "Also in the first few months of 2014 will be Update 6, in which we’re working towards continued refinements and adding support for playing Killzone Mercenary on Vita TV." Confirmation still remains regarding this matter, but a statement such as this coming from a source like Guerilla, which is so close to Sony, leaves the assumption that localization of the PS Vita TV is now on the horizon.
The PS Vita TV will allow gamers to Remote Play PlayStation 4 and PS Vita games on any TV, and all PlayStation 1 and PlayStation Portable titles on the PlayStation Network are also at the ready; for more information on cost and functionality, click here for more information; since connecting to the PS4 directly for Remote Play requires the PS Vita to be in such close proximity, the PS Vita TV may allow the same lag-free experience from anywhere, though we will have to wait to confirm that.
