The developer behind Super Stardust has confirmed it will be making an announcement at Gamescom in regards to PlayStation 4.
Housemarque made the comments in response to a fan on Twitter, stating it will have something PS4-related to talk about at the Cologne-based event.
The studio has already been confirmed as one of many developers working on PS4, and back in May announced it was working on a spiritual successor to Super Stardust for Sony’s next-generation console.
Housemarque has quite the pedigree under its belt, having produced a number of popular titles for Sony’s PlayStation 3, including Dead Nation and Outland.
Presumably the company’s PS4 info drop at Gamescom will pertain to the aforementioned Super Stardust spiritual successor, though we’ll have to wait and see.
Stay tuned to PSU.com for more details as we get them.
