PlayStation 4-exclusive teen horror romp Until Dawn has officially gone gold, developer Supermassive Games has announced via Twitter (via Segmentnext).
The game will ship in North America on August 25 and in Europe on August 28.

Until Dawn was originally planned for release on PS3 as a PlayStation Move title, though Sony ultimately decided to shift development to the PS4.
The game focuses on a group of teenagers as they are hunted down by a mysterious figure while staying at a remote log cabin. Until Dawn’s story will shift dynamically depending on what choices you make, and it’s possible to have all characters survive the night or even see them all brutally slain.
As such, the game is made to be replayed multiple times, with each playthrough lasting around nine hours. Furthermore, thanks to a strict auto-save feature, you can’t undo any choices you have made, forcing you think carefully about what action to take.
