Activision is reportedly working on a new Ghostbusters game for PS4 and Xbox One which will launch alongside the upcoming movie this Summer.
According to Retail Merchandiser, the game will launch to coincide with Columbia Pictures’ new Ghostbusters film, which is being directed by Paul Fieg and stars an all-female cast in a reboot of the original Ghostbusters.

The new film is said to be a reboot of the original, which focuses on a world-saving plot as the Ghostbusters team are called in to help following an invasion of ghouls into downtown Manhattan.
Activision has yet to officially announce the videogame tie-in, so it’s unknown whether the new title will tie-in with the film, or take a totally new direction.
The Ghostbusters (2016) movie is due to release on July 15, 2016.
Sony Pictures Animation is also working on a new Ghostbusters movie. The animated film is being directed by original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman, and sources suggest that the story will be told from the viewpoint of one of the ghosts.
