PS4 update 4.50 rolled out little over two weeks ago, bringing with it a host of new features including external hard drive compatibility, PS4 Pro Boost mode, custom wallpapers, and much more. However, it’s been reported that since the update rolled out, some PS4 users are experiencing Wi-Fi connectivity issues, and specifically getting error code NW-31297-2, preventing them from getting online and downloading games or engaging in multiplayer.
Gamers quickly flocked to the official PlayStation forums to report on PS4 error NW-31297-2, which prevents users from accessing Wi-Fi. This was reported by numerous users in the past few weeks, and it’s only now that Sony has issued the following statement: “We are aware and are looking into the situation.”
Unfortunately, some users have been unable to game online for over a week now, and Sony’s slow response time to the error isn’t going to sit well with angry punters who have been itching to get in some PS4 online gaming since the update rolled out. Other PS4 issues reported following update 4.50 include missing games from the library.
