PS4 Pro specs offer significant boost over PS4 slim

At the PlayStation Meeting last week, the PS4 Pro specs were revealed in full, confirming a significant upgrade from Sony’s other latest PlayStation 4 model, the PS4 Slim.

The PS4 Pro delivers numerous enhancements over both the original PS4 and the PS4 Slim, including:

  • Improved CPU
  • Enhanced GPU
  • Faster Memory
  • PS4 4K resolution

PS4 HDR: Though the Slim and the original PlayStation 4 will both received high definition support in the in the next firmware update 4.0, only PS4 Pro will be capable of outputting games at a 4K resolution. It’s more powerful specs should also mean that games run more efficiently.

Though they’ll be no exclusive PS4 Pro games, titles that support the 4K resolution will be labeled with the PS4 Pro Enhanced icon. Games that have confirmed support for the new console, include:
