The long-awaited support for themes on PS4’s tile-centric interface is nearing completion with news that hardware update 2.0 will feature the option, as will PS Vita with its hardware update 3.30.
Announced by Sony at its pre-Tokyo Game Show conference, theme support works nearly exactly like its PS3 counterpart, with dynamic images taking up PS4’s background as you navigate its interface.
It’s unclear whether or not gamers can import their own themes via a USB, but we expect confirmation at some point soon into the future.
PS Vita isn’t getting left in the dark, either, with news that its very own theme options are inbound.
