PlayStation 4’s system software update 3.00, better known by its codenamed Kenshin, has officially gone live and is now available to download, Sony has announced.
As previously reported on PSU, the update adds a wealth of new improvements and features to enhance your PS4 experience, with a keen emphasis on social-oriented content, such as YouTube and Twitter. Main highlights include the introduction of stickers, allowing you to send amusing images to friends instead of regular text-based messages, plus the chance to view and event hub to keep track of all the latest goings-on for your favourite games.
In addition, you can also create communities based on your favourite games and genres, where like-minded gamers can engage in conversation with you via a message board. This also contains links to join game parties and the ability to share/view screenshots with each other. The update weighs in at 250MB, so you won’t have to wait long for it to download before you install it.
