Wario64 on X has reported that the price of the DualSense controller has been bumped in North America, with multiple regions in the country now charging an additional $5 for the PS5 pad.
The price hike came into play yesterday with the likes of Best Buy, Target and the PlayStation Direct store selling the DualSense for $75 instead of $70. This appears to be the case for all versions of the pad, not just certain colours, although it doesn’t look like Sony has bumped up the price outside of the US at this point.

The DualSense controller comes in a variety of different colours nowadays, while Sony has also released the DualSense Edge, which allows for a greater degree of customisation for players to tinker with.
On the hardware front, Sony is heavily rumoured to be launching an upgraded version of its flagship console later this year, called the PS5 Pro. In fact, the hardware giant may have revealed the design for the system via images released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of PlayStation.
