At this point, we’ve heard so much about the PS5 Pro that it would actually be the greatest (and funniest) prank in gaming history if PlayStation came out and announced it wasn’t real. But in its recent post about celebrating PlayStation’s 30th Anniversary may have just done the opposite, sneakily revealing the console’s design.
Eagle-eyed viewers took a look at the header image for the PlayStation Blog post kicking off a few of the festivities, where each of the PlayStation symbols are made up of silhouetted cutouts of various PlayStation hardware and accessories over the years and noticed one that stood out from the rest.
It looks similar to the other PS5 silhouette, but instead of one stripe across the console, it has three, which also lines up (pun intended) with the leaked mock-up design we saw of the PS5 Pro from last week.
Many players spotted the silhouette, though for a better look the ever-reliable Wario64 on Twitter put the regular PS5 and the supposed PS5 Pro silhouette side-by-side for comparison.
With a State Of Play event reportedly arriving sometime this month, if this really is a tease for the coming PS5 Pro, then perhaps we’ll get the console’s proper reveal before the month is out as well.
