iOS update 14.5 is being distributed to beta testers from today, and comes following the update’s announcement back in November 2020. The news comes hot on the heels of Steam rolling out PS5 DualSense support late last year, alongside Nvidia’s Shield TV just last month.
In addition to the above controllers being supported, iOS 14.5 also allows you to unlock an iPhone with an Apple Watch while wearing a mask, Siri emergency contact calling, CarPlay ETA sharing, and dual-SIM 5G support.
Apple hasn’t said when a general release for the update will be issued, but it’s expected to drop in the next few months.
Sony launched the PS5 in the US and UK last November, although the console is still extremely difficult to get hold of.
