PS5 DualSense Controller Unverified Photo Shows Pad ‘In The Wild’ For First Time

A new photo of the PS5 DualSense controller has popped up online, offering what is the first shot of the pad ‘in the wild.’ Right now the shot is completely unverified, and it looks slightly iffy due the angle – better take it with a pinch of salt just to be safe, eh?

If accurate, then this would be the first time that the DualSense has been photographed outside the usual promotional trappings that we’ve seen throughout the year. It would also suggest that the PS5 is currently in the final stages of production as Sony gears up for the console’s release this holiday season.

The DualSense controller features a similar aesthetic to its predecessor as expect, but with some subtle changes. In terms of features, the pad includes haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and a new Create button that functions in a similar manner to the Share button on the DualShock 4.

Sony has yet to announce how much the DualSense controller will cost, but expect to hear something closer to launch.
