Amazon France has listed the PS5 price for both the Disc and Digital versions of Sony’s next-generation console. While likely a placeholder, both prices are actually pretty plausible and not in the realms of absurdity that we’ve seen from previous so-called ‘leaks.’
Amazon Lists PS5 Price Point
The retail giant has pegged the regular PS5 model at €499 while the Digital edition of the console is listed at €399. Unsurprisingly, the listing was quickly removed, but not before being spotted by Forbes, who also took a screenshot of it (via ResetEra).
Sony has not announced the PS5 price yet, but it has revealed it intends to place emphasis on value over cost for its new console. In addition, a former Microsoft executive has said that he does not expect the system to retail for more than $499, which matches nicely with what Amazon has listed.
