PS5 Tracks Your Playtime For PS5 And PS4 Games

Now that we have had a chance to check out the PS5, we can tell you that the console will track your playtime for next-generation games, as well as titles you have already played on PS4.

The playtime is tracked in hours and you also get to see when you last played each PS4 and PS5 game, straight from your profile and list of games. We haven’t been able to clarify if you need to be online and connected to the PlayStation Network to track this data, so we will have to wait and find out.

This is a great little feature and it is cool that we are finally able to see just how much we have completed in games and how long it took us to do so. What do you think your longest played will be when you view your profile on PS5? For now, though, check out everything you need to know in our PS5 hardware review.

The PS5 releases on November 12, 2020, in the US and November 19, 2020, in the EU and UK.
