Gran Turismo 7 developer Polyphony Digital has reiterated that the upcoming racer will tap into a number of more traditional elements from past entries in the franchise, thus offering gamers the ‘best Gran Turismo experience’ to date.
Speaking with Octane Japan, with a translation provided by GT Planet, Polyphony boss Kazunori Yamauchi commented:
While inheriting elements such as the [FIA] championship realized in GT Sport, Gran Turismo 7 will return to the royal purpose of full volumes like [Gran Turismo] 1-4, and provide the best Gran Turismo experience at present.
