PSN Maintenance error codes 8002a10d and WS-37432-9- what do they mean?

With most of the PlayStation Network offline, many gamers have been prompted with error codes WS-3432-9 and 8002a10d.

These codes emcompass the general PSN status, but each pertains to the status of the network in their own way.

WS-37432-9 – "PlayStation™Network might be undergoing maintenance or is temporarily busy."

– This code reflects on the status of the network itself.

8002a10d – "You may have some difficulty signing in or creating an account on PlayStation ™ Network. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue."

– This code reflects on your ability to sign in or gain access to the network.

For now, it’s a waiting game as the PSN engineers beaver away at the issues causing this network downtime. A few services such as PlayStation Video and Music are green-lit and readily available, according to the Network Service Status page, and PlayStation Vue access is somewhat tenative, but the rest of the provided services are still offline. We’ll keep you posted as to when the servers turn back on, so stay tuned.
