PSVR PS5’s New Controller Will Include ‘Key Features’ From The DualSense

PlayStation boss Jim Ryan has revealed that the upcoming PSVR PS5 headset will feature a newly-designed VR controller that will incorporate a number of ‘key features’ found in the DualSense pad.

Ryan commented:

One of the innovations we’re excited about is our new VR controller, which will incorporate some of the key features found in the DualSense wireless controller, along with a focus on great ergonomics. That’s just one of the examples of future-proof technology we’re developing to match our vision for a whole new generation of VR games and experiences.

PSVR 2 has yet to attract a release date but Sony has revealed that it will not be released in 2021. Furthermore, dev kits are already in the hands of studios who are busy creating ‘new worlds’ for the device.
