Sony Interactive Entertainment has unwrapped a Midnight Black version of its Pulse 3D Wireless Headset, confirming the new colour will begin rolling out next month. The headset was part of the PS5’s peripheral lineup at launch, but was only available in one colour, white.
The Midnight Black version of the wireless headset joins a range of colours that are currently available for another of PS5’s key accessories, namely the DualSense controller. Naturally, this Midnight Black range matches the same colour that’s available for the DualSense, so you can have a matching set.
Sony’s Pulse 3D Wireless Headset has been made specifically with the PS5’s Tempest 3D AudioTech in mind, packing a “finely-tuned frequency response to help players more precisely place sounds in exact locations to match on-screen gameplay.”
