Quantum Error developer TeamKill Media has announced its next project, Son And Bone, coming to PS5 sometime in 2024.
If you’re not already aware of Quantum Error, it was a horror firefighting game that gave Lord Of The Rings: Gollum a run for its money for being the worst game released in 2023.
In fact it was the fourth worst reviewed game of 2023, according to Metacritic. Here at PSU, we were highly disappointed with Quantum Error.
Broken gameplay and a lacking story only scratch the surface of its issues, which you can read about in our review.
Despite all that, TeamKill Media (thanks to pre-orders) at the very least broke even on Quantum Error, and is working on a sequel that one can only hope that will fare better than the original.
Which, is the same hope applied to Son And Bone. A boomer-shooter that definitely seems to take inspiration from Turok is very different than the kind of game Quantum Error was trying to be, so it’s possibly worth giving TeamKill Media the benefit of the doubt.
Otherwise if Son And Bone does release later this year in a fashion similar to Quantum Error, TeamKill Media could be looking at having games on the “worst of the year” list two years running.
