Rainbow Six: Siege has been delayed

Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six: Siege has been delayed until “December 1, 2015 for all regions.”

The team behind Rainbow Six expressed that the decision to delay was a difficult one, but one they felt was necessary:

This wasn’t an easy decision, but based on the feedback we’ve received, and based on our own internal tests, we felt there are adjustments and improvements we can make, including improving the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation. We’re taking a little more time to make these changes, and we think it’s the right call.”

Rainbow Six: Siege will still begin its closed beta testing on September 24, 2015 as originally planned, and the team hopes that the extra testing time will allow them to make a “higher-quality experience at launch.”

Rainbow Six: Siege was originally set to release on October 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
