Ready at Dawn has no plans for more PSP God of War games

Developer Ready at Dawn has revealed that it has no plans to work on another God of War title for Sony’s PlayStation Portable.

Speaking during a chinwag with CVG in regards to the possibility of seeing Kratos make another appearance on the handheld, studio co-founder Ru Weerasuriya commented:

"I don’t know. As far as we’re concerned as a team we’re not going to do another one on the PSP.”

"We just wanted to make sure that every time we make a game we push the limits of that hardware as much as possible."

And from the sound of things, Weerasuriya clearly feels that Ready at Dawn’s squeezed every last ounce of pushing power out of Sony’s slab with the upcoming PSP exclusive title, God of War: Ghost of Sparta.

"If we truly believe today that there could be more that could be done, maybe we’d approach one," he added.

"But at this point having done what we have on the PSP for six or seven years we’re at the point where we can look at the hardware and know ‘this is as far as we can push it’.

"As far as we’re concerned, we’re not going to do another one on the PSP."
