News PS4 PS5 Red Dead Redemption Red Dead Redemption Remastered Rockstar Games

Red Dead Redemption Remastered Listed On Amazon For Dec. Release

A listing for Red Dead Redemption Remastered shows up on retail giant Amazon after performing a Google search, suggesting Rockstar Games may announce something soon, possibly at The Game Awards. That is, assuming this is not just a load of rubbish.

Red Dead Redemption Remastered Inbound?

The only platform associated with the listing is Xbox One, but we presume it’ll also be coming to PS4 (and probably PS5 and Xbox Series X/S) if it’s indeed the real deal. You can see the listing below for more details.

To be fair, Red Dead Redemption Remastered isn’t that much of a stretch to imagine, as we’ve already seen L.A. Noire given a PS4 overhaul and Grand Theft Auto 5 was also ported to the console back in 2014. Hell, it’s even coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2021.

With Red Dead Redemption 2 a massive success for publisher Take-Two, perhaps it’s time to bring its predecessor to modern platforms with a few extra bells and whistles? After all, some folk were bound to have missed out on it back on PS3.

Red Dead Redemption was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 back in May 2010 and you can read our review here.
