Universal Studios upcoming feature-length television movie Red Faction: Origins will air on the SyFy Channel on June 4, 2011, reveals Electronic Theatre.
Arriving shortly after the release of THQ’s Red Faction Armageddon video game on May 31, Red Faction: Origins casts popular actor Robert Patrick in the role of the game’s antagonist, Alec Mason, and follows events that bridge the gap between the first game, Red Faction Guerilla and THQ’s new action-adventure.
Red Faction: Origins will air as a two-hour pilot, which if successful will develop into a full-blown T.V. series. The pilot kicks off at 9pm ET/PT on Saturday June 4,2011.
