Resident Evil 3 Remake DLC Is Not Happening, Confirms Capcom

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 3 Remake DLC is not going to happen, confirming the project is 100% complete. It’s a shame too, as the game could have benefited from some extra goodies post-launch, as Resident Evil 2‘s DLC was pretty solid.

Resident Evil 3 Remake DLC Not On The Cards

Speaking with Siliconera, Resident Evil 3 producer Peter Fabiano was asked if there were any plans to expand the game with ‘tweaks or updates,’ to which he replied: “Resident Evil 3 is a finished product.”

However, Capcom is still supporting the online-based Resident Evil Resistance, which shipped alongside RE3.

The original version of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis feature a mini-game known as The Mercenaries, which became a staple of later instalments in the series. That was missing from the remake, sadly, and unlike the remake of RE2, there weren’t any additional modes like the Ghost Survivors or Fourth Survivor included.

Capcom is heavily rumored to be working on Resident Evil 8, which is supposedly coming out in early 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One.
