Capcom revealed during its Tokyo Game Show broadcast today that it is developing a PS4 version of the Resident Evil 4 Remake. Interestingly, there appears to be no Xbox One version of the game in the works.
In addition, the publisher announced that it will host a new Resident Evil Showcase next month, and sure enough, we’ll hear more about Resident Evil 4 Remake there. There’s no date for the showcase yet, but we’ll keep you informed.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is due out on March 24, 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game is based on the original 2005 action-horror classic directed by Shinji Mikami, which appeared first on GameCube and was ported to numerous other platforms over the years.
Set in Fall 2004, Resident Evil 4 reunites players with Leon S. Kennedy, who having surviving his ordeal in Raccoon City six years prior, has now become a hardened government agent working for President Graham.
The game sees him travelling to a remote region in Europe to rescue Graham’s kidnapped daughter, Ashley, from a mysterious organisation.
Resident Evil 4 is cited as one of the greatest video games ever made and took the franchise in a completely new direction, replacing the pre-rendered backdrops with 3D environments and shifting the action to an over-the-shoulder camera.
The game influenced the likes of Gears of War and many other entries in the Resident Evil series used the same template, including the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3.
