Capcom has announced that its Resident Evil 4 Remake PSVR 2 mode is now in development and will be released as free DLC for the upcoming survival horror revamp.
The VR mode for Resident Evil 4 has begun development! Please look forward to more details in the future! The VR mode for Resident Evil 4 will be released as free downloadable content for PlayStation 5 / PlayStation VR2.
That’s about all we know so far, and it isn’t confirmed whether or not this VR mode will be the full game playable using PSVR 2, or is a separate mini-game of sorts that can only be played using PSVR 2.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is scheduled for release on March 24, 2023 for PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. Capcom recently revealed during a Q&A session with Game Informer that RE4 Remake will include a New Game Plus and Photo Mode.
The original Resident Evil 4 was released for Nintendo GameCube back in 2005, and was later ported to numerous platforms starting with PS2 later that same year. The game sees Leon S. Kennedy sent to rescue the president’s daughter from a mysterious cult in rural Europe.
