Resident Evil 4 Remake VR Mode Announced For PSVR 2

Capcom has announced that it’s working on a full-fledged Resident Evil 4 Remake VR mode for PSVR 2 owners.

The trailer confirms that the game is indeed fully playable in VR just like Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village, with players stepping into Leon S. Kennedy’s shoes for a more intimate take on the classic action-horror title.

Unlike the VR version of the game released last year for other formats however, this is the Resident Evil 4 Remake, so it’s not just a simple port of the 2005 version of the game. As such, the game looks just as stunning as it did back on PS5, only this time you’ll see the action from a brand new perspective.

Capcom announced last year that they were working on VR support for Resident Evil 4 Remake, but at the time didn’t reveal anything more than that.

Resident Evil 4 Remake was released for PS5, PS4, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in March 2023.
