UK sales of Resident Evil 5 have propelled gaming ahead of both music and film this past weekend , with the game crushing the efforts of U2’s latest album and the combined sales of the region’s top five cinema films.
The action horror sequel comfortably outsold every single entry in the UK singles charts, including digital downloads. Not even Bono and his Irish rockers could match the might of Chris Redfield and co.
