Capcom has yet to formally announce Resident Evil 6, though that hasn’t stopped Internet sleuths from digging around in an attempt to uncover evidence that the hotly-anticipated sequel is in the works.
In this case, the chaps at Siliconera spotted a listing for Resident Evil 6 on actor Joe Cappelletti’s credits page, which was quickly removed – but not before the site was able to take a cheeky snapshot of the page.
Gossip on a new entry in the venerable survival horror franchise kicked up a notch earlier this year, when a logo for the game was snapped behind-closed-doors at Comic-Con in July. Apparently, the logo teased a Tokyo Game Show reveal, although this failed to materialise.
Capcom has implied on numerous occasions that RE6 will be a reboot of the series and a major departure from 2009’s Resident Evil 5.
Stay tuned.
