Resident Evil 7 characters info and new details as Twilight unlocks new mystery in PS4 demo

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has revealed a boatload of new Resident Evil 7: biohazard details for you to digest, including some new details about Resident Evil 7 characters.

According to a translation of the article (via Reddit), dinner table scene at the climax of the new trailer features numerous members of the Baker family: Jack, Marguerite, Lucas, and Camile. The latter two will feature in key roles in the game, with Lucas being a major player in the events of Resident Evil 7.

New Resident Evil 7 enemies

In terms of enemies, Capcom told the publication that there won’t be hordes of foes to gun down in the survival horror sequel. Instead, encounters are more on a personal level, with the player being stalked, although they can still be engaged and defeated in combat. One of the first weapons you find in the game is a simple knife, although some enemies cannot be killed by conventional weapons.

Some familiar Resident Evil characters

The developer also confirmed that there will be returning Resident Evil characters (the translation specifically mentions plural, so more than one familiar face will show up), although there’s no clue as to who we can expect to show up. Apparently though, Leon S. Kennedy won’t be in the game.

Capcom also touched briefly on the mysterious ‘ghost girl’ seen in the Resident Evil 7 demo, mentioning that a ghost hunt has been on-going within the game’s bayou area in response to sightings of the mysterious figure.
