Capcom has released the first batch of Resident Evil 7 Not a Hero gameplay for your viewing pleasure.
The footage offers a glimpse at protagonist Chris Redfield exploring a creepy abandoned mine not unlike the one that was featured in the main campaign, while battling against hordes of Molded, including a brand new white variation.
Redfield is seen using his handgun and shotgun in action to dispatch his enemies with relative ease, while also stunning the odd foe and delivering a meaty punch to the face to finish them off.

Resident Evil 7 Not a Hero is due for release on December 12, 2017 as a free download to all players. The expansion takes place immediately following the events of the main story, and sees Redfield hunting down a high-value target linked to the Baker incident.
Capcom will also be releasing Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition this holiday, which features all available downloadable content plus access to the upcoming End of Zoe expansion.
Resident Evil 7 was released in January 2017 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The game takes place from a first-person viewpoint – a first for a mainline Resi title – and sees newcomer Ethan Winters traveling to the mysterious Baker plantation in Dulvey, Louisiana, in search of his missing wife, Mia.
Despite receiving positive reviews, Resident Evil 7 failed to match Capcom’s initial sales forecast, although the publisher still has high hopes that the game will continue to sell over time.
Looking ahead, Capcom is currently working on a full-blown remake of 1998’s seminal Resident Evil 2, and is reported to be in the early planning stages for Resident Evil 8.
