Resident Evil HD Remaster PS4 file size confirmed

Capcom has confirmed (via gameidealist) how much space the Resident Evil HD Remaster will eat up on your PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

The survival horror title will weigh in at 14.2GB on both Sony formats, and as previously reported, will be available as a Cross-Buy title for pre-orders.

Just in case you were curious, the Xbox One version will clock in slightly higher at 14.68GB.

Resident Evil HD Remaster is scheduled for release digitally on the week of January 20, 2015, for PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

The game is a high-definition port of the GameCube Resident Evil remake, originally released in 2002. Aside from a visual makeover, the game adds a modernized control scheme, widescreen support, and remastered sound effects.

From the look of things, it seems that Resident Evil Zero, the second GameCube-exclusive entry in the franchise launched in November 2002, may also be getting the HD treatment at some point.
