Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be getting a public beta at some point “early next year,” producer Mike Jones has revealed.
Jones made the announcement during Capcom’s Gamers Day 2011 last week, though didn’t reveal any further details on the demo or a more accurate date as to when we can expect it.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the U.S. on March 20, 2012. A PC version will follow at a later date.
The game is set during the Raccoon City T-Virus outbreak of fall 1998, and covers the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis from the perspective of Umbrella’s Security Service.
