Resident Evil Requiem takes place 30 years after the destruction of Raccoon City, as depicted in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. The game introduces newcomer Grace, an FBI agent who is the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft from Resident Evil Outbreak, as she investigates as series of grisly murders at a hotel – the same location where her mother perished eight years earlier. Players will be able to switch between third and first-person viewpoints, a first for the franchise.
Not much else is known about the plot right now, but the first trailer for Resident Evil Requiem depicts a destroyed Raccoon City, which players will be able to visit at some point during the game.
Resident Evil Requiem is slated for release on February 26, 2026 on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
