Capcom has announced that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will feature fan-favorite Barry Burton as a playable character.
Burton, who was part of the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team in the original Resident Evil alongside Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, returns alongside newcomer Natalia Korda to search for his missing daughter, Moira.

In addition, Capcom also confirmed that episode one of Revelations 2 will begin rolling out on February 17, and will be followed by a new chapter every week. The final episode will drop on March 10.
Each episode will set you back $5.99/£4.99, or you can snap up the Season Pass for $24.99/£19.99. Each chapter contains two scenarios, one of which features Moira and Claire, the other focusing on Barry and Natalia, as well as a Raid Mode.
In Europe, players can pick up a retail pack containing all the Season Pass content, in addition to the following goodies:
-Albert Wesker Raid Mode skin
-A new costume for each of the four main playable characters
-Raid Mode Throwback pack, featuring a stage from previous Resident Evil titles
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 takes place between the events of the fifth and sixth instalments in Capcom’s venerable zombie-action franchise. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
